It's All Energy

Everything is energy. I've known this for years. Color affects our moods, our health; it heals or it drains. This I have taught for years. And yet here I am again at the beginning, reminding myself of what I know to be true.

Energy is movement. We are movement. Our lives are movement and color. Movement and color are vibration reflecting who we are. How is it we find ourselves in a state of knowing who we are, yet in total contradiction, surround ourselves with that which is not us at all? Further more, why do we work so hard to change our core essence, our original vibration, when the original state is exactly who we were created to be? Full circle, back to "Don't Change For Heaven's Sake", living at the core of energy, the core of our existence.

How easily we choose clothes which drain our spirit, surround ourselves with colors that do not enliven our senses. We hear our soul calling but cannot answer back. We long for health and vitality, all the while living in opposition to our truth. We find a role model who seems to be what we would be, and begin to fashion ourselves in their image, not noticing we are masking our own truth.

We fall out of sync with our personal design, our homes the perfect decorating magazine or filled with clutter as we try to live with who we wish we were instead of who we really are. We keep those favored ornaments and pictures, given by friends and loved ones along the way. We cannot let them go for they are memories, how our friends and family have seen us through the years. So we hang on to their perception, afraid they would not love the soul we truly are. Amongst those trinkets we have placed our longing to be free and in the midst we find not truth, but mere acceptance of the mess we created in our journey, unable to release the past, and still hopeful for a future filled with bliss.

Such contradiction causes the storm within ourselves, and so without, mirrored in the fierce winter storms, tornados, hurricanes.  We see and feel the horror of this physical reflections, blaming nature and higher powers for our predicaments, yet never look within to stop the raging there. Energy pure and simple must be what it is, for it can be nothing else. Each of us must find balance within, so what is above, below and beside and can also balance itself out again.

And we would accept and cling to the physical pain, the emotional struggle, to hang on to what is not ours to keep. Our need to be the power goes so far that we would rather control than be well. If we admit we have been out of touch with ourselves, release the false beliefs, and return to our original energy state, how different would life be?

It is not that we are drained of energy, or out of vitality, for that can never be. That is all we are, that is all everything you see around you is - pure energy. It cannot be lost, only misdirected. It cannot be drained, only resisted. It can never be too much, only misunderstood. Each of is a unique energy system, and when we allow ourselves to be as we were created, accepting the energy we were given, and flow with the natural vibration as inspired within us, we find the depth and beauty of life. In balance we begin to balance the forces around us. In balance, we find our true desires, always there. Health, joy, love, peace, wealth, all in abundance.

This I write with hope and promise for 2014. As you set your goals and dreams for the coming year, ask not, "Who am I?" or "What is my path?"  Instead, know you are you, a perfect creation. Know your path is to live on this earth, integrating your unique energy with others to create a world of harmony, fulfilling the experiences as they arise, and trusting that each day will bring new opportunities to express the truth of your creation. In faith, know you are here for a reason, and the reason will be revealed, when you allow your energy to flow freely, without restriction of social programming, the latest fashion magazine, or the undue influence of others.

Decide today, to begin anew this coming year. Be you, the energy of you.

Many Blessings

Rainbow Meditation

This picture gave me a place to sit and give thanks for the perfection of life. Find a place on the sand, sit down, feel your feet anchored into the earth, take a few really deep breaths and allow your body to fully relax. Let your eyes go a little out of focus so the colors of the rainbow expand and blur together over the sky. Let your heart open, as you breathe even more deeply and release all resistance to finding gratitude and peace. Give your troubles, worries and fear to the rainbow. Watch as the pain is absorbed and transformed by the colors and movement of the breeze as you sit there on this deserted beach. Know that you are not alone here. Feel the presence of something grand and glorious. Fill your being with a feeling of strength, joy, and appreciation for all you are and all you can be. Let the rainbow colors wash over you as you relax even more, noticing the tension release from your facial expression, your eyes soften, your shoulders become loose and limp.  Do not try to think of reasons to be grateful, do not force the feeling of joy, peace, love, abundance. In this moment simple be that. Simply be.......

Stay here as long as you like; come back whenever you like. Etch this picture in your mind so you can come here no matter where you are. Notice the froth of the waves brought on by stormy weather, the clouds, obscuring the sun for a time, and see how this reflection is your life. For even in times of sadness and sorrow, there is a gentle breeze coming, a rainbow bridge to better times, and promise of a shining sun reflecting the colors of life. Let the rainbow colors reflect the experiences you have, gently creating who you are - strong, glorious, loving, abundant.

When you are ready, stand up, give yourself a bit of a shake, stretch your arms high above your head, and release ........... You are now ready to face any part of your day, grateful, inspired, at peace.

End of Year Nostalgia and Rambling

These past few weeks I have been putting together everything I have learned about energy over the past 20 years. Energy is all we are, yet in our resistance to the natural flow we create obstacles, disruptions, irritations and find ourselves battling within. Though I have practiced and taught heart mind body integration for a few years, the clarity of it all has suddenly become ever more apparent.

You have heard me speak of emotions vs feelings, illness vs disease, allowing vs acceptance. All of the similarities and opposites come as a result of allowing natural flow according to who we are deep at the core of our being. The flip side is also true, these similarities and opposites occur when we resist our highest good, believing we know everything there is to know about who we truly are. Through meditation and a growing understanding of energy, meridians, neurovascular points, and in becoming clearer about the way energy flows through us or stagnates has created many aha moments.

The ending of a year always puts me into a state of nostalgia. What have I accomplished? What could I have done better? How will I use my time in the coming year to make improvements? Part of this questioning has led me to two wonderful teachers. All of a sudden, what I have studied, learned and practiced makes so much sense, in terms of healing, living, creating. It was always there. I could see each individual gift, but the package of it all eluded me. Isn't that true with every area of life? All we desire is right in front of us, but we need to clear energy, and stagnant beliefs in order to see the larger gift within each small moment of time.

Have you ever felt stuck, or believed that what was happening in your life was fate, or God's Will, yet at the same time deep within, knew it was time for you to shift?  Not wanting to interfere with Higher Power, you stay in acceptance, not unhappy, but perhaps feeling guilty for not stepping up for what you believe to be true for your life? Not sure guilt is the right word, it may be a sense of unworthiness. Whatever the underlying emotion, you stay the course, while wondering what is missing.....

Who would believe that a few simple exercises done in minutes a day could change your perceptions of the world, all while increasing your health? And I have to say, none of the energy stimulation done, requires muscle, brawn or sweat. It is not that any of this was new to me, it was just a matter of making a decision to actually take the 10 - 15 minutes to run the routine. Why is it even when we know something will enhance our lives immensely, we find so many excuses not to take the steps? With all I thought I knew about energy, I realize I have not been optimizing mine. So to begin again, clear my mind of what I believe to be true and allow even more truth to whisper in, and settle wherever energy has closed off my ability to see the infinite possibilities of life.

I can't wait to get this all put together in a deliverable package, to share with you. The New Year will welcome additional strength to the healing modalities I now offer, and I will be updating Chakra Classes, Meditation, and Color workshops. I am excited, not just for expanding my sense of wellness, but to be able to assist others in living their best life.

The greatest "aha" is knowing that in being true to ourselves, we do not need to manipulate energy, to have the health and happiness we long for. In our truth we become the catalyst for our greatest desires. Time slows down, energy lifts, pain disappears, to the extent we are willing to allow the natural flow of energy to propel us. When we stop resisting and begin allowing everything falls quietly into place.

When I wrote "Don't Change For Heaven's Sake", I had a sense releasing and getting back to the basics of clean living was important. It is the first step in the process. The practices done daily, with awareness will lead to alignment with your energy pattern. Now is the time to see where the pattern is being challenged, restricted, eluded, and make the shifts to enhance rather than discourage, what the body needs to help the mind and heart align with "All that Is".

Over the past year I have been writing a new book, asking each of us if we can take responsibility for our creation. Can we step up to our purpose in being alive at this time? Perhaps the questions have led me to these wonderful gentle answers. Writing has once again become easy. Life has more meaning and as I begin to feel the difference in me, I long to share it with the world. Being true to yourself is so much more than just being in acceptance of who you are, but to be aware of how you could allow yourself to be happier, healthier, more abundant, more loving, more forgiving.

Do you make it a practice to review the previous year and set goals for the coming year? Do you take time to write your experiences out, rambling through the good, bad and indifferent? Can you use what you have learned to this point, to create an even better year to come?

Now is the time of year to clear the past, set intentions for the future, and give thanks for what has been and will be. Not sure how to do that? I would love to help.

Many Blessings to All of You!
